Founders Informed Fitness

Informed Fitness was created by two friends, Julia Baker and Sarah King. We shared a love for movement and education but also frustration. We were frustrated by the gap in care for women wanting to return to high intensity exercise postpartum.

We combined our experiences of our own fitness journeys, our training as occupational therapists, and our understanding of female physiology to fill the gap that we needed and put it together as Informed Fitness. We believe ALL women should have access to evidenced-based and relevant information with regard to health and fitness. 

We will share our knowledge and understanding of fitness, female physiology (how menstrual cycles impact fitness), movement, struggles and successes through various platforms -
